This easy and delicious Fruit Pizza recipe will quickly become a family favorite. Summer ripened fruit tops a sugar cookie crust, with sweet cream in between. It's the perfect, light dessert for summertime.

When summer fruits are ripe and it’s time to bring a dish to share, this family favorite recipe is always a win! Recently I sent it my daughter’s way and she made it for the first time (and quickly made it again the next week). This is such an easy dessert to make, and it’s so tasty when the summer fruits are at their best. You can change up the look and taste of it, depending on what fruits you put on top, too. Red and blue berries are a fun look for the Patriotic holidays. Yellow and orange fruits will add a tropical vibe. You won’t be able to stop at one slice!

Ingredients

  • Crust:
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • Sweet Cream:
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Toppings: Any ripe fruit-strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, red and green grapes, kiwi slices, mandarin oranges, etc.
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Melt butter and combine with flour and powdered sugar. Mix well and pat into greased pizza pan or on a cookie sheet. (I doubled the recipe for a large cookie sheet)
Bake for 15 minutes. Let cool.
Beat softened cream cheese with mixer and add vanilla and powdered sugar until smooth.
Spread over cooled crust.
Arrange cut fruit all over top.
Press fruit gently into sweet cream.
Refrigerate and slice to serve.
