Welcome to Cloches & Lavender where I share recipes, easy craft ideas with tutorials. I also share home decor ideas that are easy to accomplish!

My name is Cindy and I love to cook and feed my friends and family. It makes me happy because they enjoy everything, I serve them!

Do you love raspberries? Of course, this little red berry is delicious.

Well, how to make sugared champagne raspberries is AMAZING!

Tip: Storing This Red Fruit to Keep Fresh

When storing raspberries, it’s a great to store these in the container they come in or in a breathable container. Also, avoid keeping them in the coldest section of the refrigerator.

For the most part, when buying these red beauties, look for plump dry berries in their container. Avoid purchasing any that seem wet to avoid mold.

How to Make Sugared Champagne Raspberries

Ingredients Needed:

  • raspberries
  • champagne
  • sugar

  1. To begin, carefully wash the fruit and pat lightly with paper towel to remove excess water.
  2. When freezing berries, it’s best to spread them on a baking pan. This keeps them separate otherwise they may become a clump.
  3. Add the champagne to the fruit in a plastic container with a lid. Also, I used Verdi Spumante because I like the flavor much better. Give it a try.
  4. Place the container in the refrigerator for 12 hours. Tip: As these are sitting in the fridge, I lightly swirled the container every so often to make sure every berry is covered with the Champagne.
  5. Drain the berries well
  6. Toss gently in the sugar to coat
  7. Separate the fruit on the sheet pan and freeze for 12 hours

Freeze until ready to serve. Serve these with a pretty spoon for your guests to scoop this delicious berry up. I also advise having small forks for your guests to enjoy this sweet treat.

By the way this frozen treat is great as a snack, dessert, appetizer or ad to drinks or cocktails.
