I combined chicken casserole with a traditional Moravian chicken pie. This recipe consists of a savory chicken filling (no vegetables allowed) poured into a pie crust and then topped with buttery ritz crackers.
With only a few ingredients, it is a super simple comfort meal that your family is sure to love.

Ingredients
- 1 frozen pie crust
- 1.5 lb cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 sleeve of ritz crackers, crushed
- 4 tbsp. Butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and take pre-made frozen pie crust out of freezer to thaw.
- Mix chicken, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth and pepper in a large bowl and pour into pie crust.
- Mix ritz cracker and butter in a small bowl and sprinkle on top of chicken mixture.
- Bake for 1 hour and let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
