If you would like to spice up your usual tomato pasta, this originally Italian version with olives and capers should definitely be included in your recipe books. Of course, the idea is not mine, you can find a lot of recipes like this on the internet, this is my little version to make. I can only repeat myself - like in many other of my recipes it is also very simple and fast. And I think it is very summery as well. Spaghetti Alla Puttanesca

Ingredients
- 500 g of spaghetti
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 850 g of canned tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp. capers
- 3 Tbsp. black olives
- salt and pepper
- 50 g of parmesan cheese
Tips
- Cook your pasta according to the package instructions.
- Heat the olive oil in a pan. Add the chopped garlic, chili and oregano. Cook for a minute. Add the tomato. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add all the other ingredients, including the pasta and the parmesan cheese. Enjoy :)

Isn’t there usually anchovies in the traditional recipe. Wouldn’t add any cooking time.
