I have the perfect appetizer for your next date night in or serve at your next dinner party. Just a handful of ingredients and key spices to ELEVATE this easy and tasty seafood recipe.


The key is to start infusing the oil with garlic, then add seafood blend ( a mix of shrimp, baby scallops, calamari), then spiced it up with smoked paprika and crush pepper. The crisp up some capers and top off the dish with crispy capers and crunchy garlic. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and nothing than the best "Garcia de la Cruz Olive oil"


Just a simple dish but packed with bold flavors and easy to impress your guests. I like to serve with rustic bread toasted and seasoned with olive oil and herbs.


My fave bread to serve this dish bread is a rustic sourdough seasoned with olive oil and smoked paprika and lightly toasted.


Perfectly served with rustic bread to dip into the juices.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of seafood blend from Trader Joes (defrosted)
  • 1 cup of Argentinean Shrimp (defrosted)
  • 2 anchovy fillets
  • 1 Tsp of smoked paprika
  • 1/2 Tsp of crush pepper
  • 2 Tbsp Capers
  • 2 Garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2n-3 Tbsp of Olive oil
  • Fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Here is how to make this dish.
First defrost 1/2 bag of seafood blend from trader joes and 1/2 lb of shrimp. Pad dry and remove all excess water.
The key is to start infusing the oil with garlic. For this this you will add olive oil into a hot pan and bring heat to medium, add the garlic minced and infused the oil for about 2-3 minutes until lightly golden. Remove the garlic from the heat. In the same pan add 2 anchovy fillets and warm them up in the oil. Then add the seafood mix and shrimp, sautee for 2 minutes, then spiced it up with smoked paprika and crush pepper, adjust salt and pepper to taste..Then crisp up some capers and top off the dish with crispy capers and crunchy garlic. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and nothing than the best "Garcia de la Cruz Olive oil"
