Southern Salmon Patties

Looking for another simple and healthy Southern meal?! Look no further than good ole fashion salmon patties! Salmon patties are a Southern staple. What’s funny is that most people who say they do not like salmon, LOVE salmon patties (my husband included).
Salmon is a fatty fish, full of healthy omega-3 fatty acids. So salmon patties are a great way to sneak in these healthy fats. When it comes to salmon patties, the simpler, the better. I always try to doctor them up with different seasonings such as old bay, but my husband insist they are the best with just simple salt and pepper. So the next time you are looking for something different for dinner, try these no fuss salmon patties!

I am from Ky. We do not put cheese in our croquettes. Where is the O bay seasoning? Worcester sauce I have never heard of putting it in my patties! We also have sautéed onions and bell peppers in them
I usually add cheesy mashed potato to the mix, this introduces the cheese and gives a binding, smoother texture to the patties.
