Does cooking salsa make it better?
  • Cooking salsas, transforms them from bright vibrant to a deeper and sweeter. One isn’t better than the other.
Are canned fire roasted tomatoes spicy?
  • No. The spice comes from the peppers used to make salsa, not from the fire used to make it.
Can you freeze fire roasted salsa?

  • Great recipe! Someone gave me a boatload of fire roasted tomatoes. Half automatically went to the local food bank. The other half I handed out to friends and neighbors that enjoy cooking as much as I do. So have been perusing recipes to try and have come upon some fun recipes, yours being one of them. Will prepare exactly as written plus a bunch of fresh microplaned garlic. My group loves garlic. A lot. Also love that you set up Mise en Place. I do that for everything, not just cooking and baking. And lemonade margaritas . . . Can taste them now . . . Lip smacking all around! Thanks for sharing! 🍹Pinned.
