The Best Frozen Bananas

8 Bananas
10 min

This is such a nice cool treat, especially for Summer. Plus it is relatively healthy. So easy to make and a light cooling treat. It was a hit with the grandchildren and my hubby. I also was loving them. Use ripe bananas but not too ripe I do not think they would freeze as well or taste as well with over ripe bananas. Take as many bananas as you would like and cut them in half and then cut the halves in half. I hope this makes sense? Cover them in any nut butter you would like, I used Hazelnut butter. After that put on your choice of toppings. I used crushed peanuts and marshmallows. You could use your imagination here and get really healthy or not as healthy as you want. After that I melt some dark chocolate and drizzle that over the tops of them all. Freeze for at least a couple of hours. Mine made it just that long and then were devoured.

They were so delicious.

I am going to really change things up for the next one for the grandchildren.

Here is what I started with.

I cut my bananas in half.

Adding the nut butter on top.

Now starting to add the goodies.

I put my peanuts in a plastic bag and then used a rolling pin to crush them.

I melted my dark chocolate wafers in the microwave.

After adding all the goodies and drizzling with the chocolate.
