As the weather heats up, lettuce wraps are becoming a staple meal in my house. These are a bahn mi take on traditional lettuce wraps. The flavor combination matches perfectly and it is one of those recipes that everyone in the family loves. This is a fairly quick dinner that is very filling.

Ingredients
Ground Turkey
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 4 cloves chopped garlic
- 1/4 cup sesame oil
- 1/4 cup coconut aminos (or soy sauce)
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
Pickled Vegetables
- 3 carrots (shredded)
- 2 cucumbers (shredded)
- 1 red cabbage (sliced/shredded)
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
Siracha mayo
- 1/3 cup mayo
- 3 tsp siracha
Lettuce wraps
- 15 heads of lettuce
Instructions
Bahn Mi Lettuce Wraps
- In a medium-high heat skillet, cook ground turkey with 1 tbsp olive oil
- Add salt, pepper (for tasting), ginger, garlic, sesame oil, coconut aminos, and fish sauce.
- While the ground turkey is cooking, pickle the vegetables.
- In a mason jar, place all shredded vegetables inside with white vinegar, sugar, and salt. Let sit for 20 minutes.
- Mix mayo and siracha (edit quantity for flavor preference)
- Wash romaine lettuce heads and serve with a scoop of ground turkey, pickled vegetables, and siracha mayo.
Tips
- Edit quantities to fit your flavor profile/preference
- Don't have fish sauce? Soy sauce and sesame oil also create a nice flavor

sounds great but 15 heads of romaine
I see this is for 15 lettuce wraps, but does this mean 15 servings? If not how many wraps per serving?
