Sour Cream Drop Cookies
These sugar cookies are an old recipe handed down in our family. They are soft and just get softer as they are stored. The sour cream addition is what gives these cookies the moistness they need. Everyone loves them in our family. I decided to give them a little bit of Christmas spirit by adding some red sugar and rolling them in that. They are very easy to make and make a nice batch. I have a roll out version of these too posted in another recipe here. Mix your sugar, butter and sour cream together and add in your vanilla and egg. I used my homemade Vanilla extract which I made this Summer and Is ready now for holiday baking. Sift the dry ingredients together and then mix the two together until creamy. Using a cookie scoop scoop the dough out and roll in the sugar. Flatten them slightly with a glass or measuring cup. Bake until the bottoms are light brown. I hop you can add this recipe to your family holiday recipes.
