This easy southern pecan pie recipe wonderful for special occasions or holidays. It's very easy to make but is sure to impress your guests. It has a sweet filling with pecans throughout and a hint of cinnamon to top it off. I toast the pecans to really bring out that pecan flavor we all love. If you don't toast the pecans you dont get any where near the amount of flavor you would get from toasting them. This Pecan pie recipe is one of my favorite pies to make, and I hope you love it as much as I do.

The Best Pecan Pie Recipe

Ingredients
- 3/4 c Dark Brown Sugar
- 1/2 c Unsalted Butter
- 3 Eggs
- 1 c Corn Syrup
- 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- ½ tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Cinnamon
- 4 T All purpose Flour
- 1 c Chopped Pecans Toasted
- 1 bag Uncooked Dry Beans or Pie Weights (For blind baking)
- Preheat the oven to 375 ﹾ
- Now prebake your pie crust for 15 minutes. Remember to line your pie crust with a coffee filter, and beans.
- Combine your melted butter and brown sugar together.
- Add in the eggs one at a time, and scrape the bowl after each one.
- Add in your corn syrup and vanilla, and then scrape the bowl.
- Now add in the salt, cinnamon, and flour.
- Lastly, pour in your pecans, and mix them until just combined.
- Remove the beans from your pie crust, and fill the crust with the pie filling.
- Bake the pie 45 minutes or until the pie is set.
- Then let it cool completely before cutting.
Instructions
Pie Crust
- Preheat the oven to 375 ﹾ
- With a fork poke a few holes in your pie crust along the bottom and sides for the stream to escape. Don't make the holes big.
- Line your pie crust with parchment paper and put in your pie weights or beans. Now prebake your pie crust for 15 minutes.

Doesn’t look like the pecans are chopped in the photo. Did you add extra pecans on top?
