    Do you drain the pineapple?

I wish someone would answer that. To drain or not to drain that is the question?

  • Tammy Tammy on Jun 24, 2023

I was looking at the recipe- there is not a very good way to drain the pineapple. Plus with the addition of the flour that I believe is to counter the moisture from it, should be ok. But, one thing that worried me about this recipe is the unbaked pie shell and all the wet ingredients!!! Normally you should prebake the shell at least a few minutes (so the bottom of the pie shell can cook somewhat), poking it first with fork, etc. Or using your beans, or whatever…. Or it with be mushy. This recipe just says throw it in and cook- can try it. But, just be aware that the bottom may not cook well. I do like this recipe though and want to try it!!!❤️
