This crumb topping makes any pie taste amazing. It is a combination of my mother in laws recipe and my own. The sweet peaches are amazing this year. In Michigan the peaches are just coming out and they are so good and juicy. I am making all the peach things right now and one of them is this pie. First I make my pie crust which you can find the recipe here in my recipes. Then I peel and slice the peaches my hubby likes small pieces of fruit so I try and do that. Then I mix cinnamon and sugar with the peaches the amounts vary as to how sweet your peaches are. In the Winter I always add more if I have to buy them. But these were so sweet and delicious I only added a small amount. Then add the peach mixture to the crust. In a small bowl combine the sugar, brown sugar, oatmeal and butter. Use a pastry blender or your hands until the mixture is crumbly. Add to the top of your pie. Bake for the amount required depending on your pie flavor.

I bake it until it is bubbly and the crust is browned. You want the crust to be browned so it is a little crunchy.

Here are my peaches.

Mixing everything into the peaches.

Adding it to my crust.

Mixing the crumble topping. I changed out the fork for my hands made it so much easier.

Add it to your pie and bake as is necessary for your pie flavor.

It turned out so good and the top was nice and crunchy and sweet.
