Baked Cobbler Oats

1-2 servings

Cobbler for breakfast? …YES PLEASE!! This Baked Cobbler Oats Breakfast is a comforting and healthy way to start the day. Put away those cereal bowls and preheat the oven for this delicious breakfast for two. This is meant to be baked in a small dish. I used a 5 x 7 and also a round 6-inch diameter dish, both turned out great. The fruit you choose can be versatile. I used fresh plums, but you can also use peaches, apricots, or fresh figs or get creative with what you have in season.

    Can you use frozen fruits?

    • Great question Tom! Absolutely, for the amount of time that it bakes, it should work just fine. (Unless your fruit is very thick, but you can either slice it thinner or thaw slightly before baking)
