Patriotic Brownie and Fruit Fourth of July Cake

Bring on the red, white and blue! Memorial Day and the Fourth of July are just around the corner, and so is all the family fun that comes with these special days.

Dessert is an important part of every gathering and our Two Kids and a Coupon team has this tasty brownie inspired cake that is fun for summer events.

Topped with cream cheese frosting and fresh fruit, it’s sure to please everyone in your crowd and it makes a delicious dessert to serve all summer long.

To make this patriotic cake just tine for summer gatherings, here’s what you’ll need.

• 18 oz Box Brownie Mix (plus ingredients listed on box)
• 16 oz Cream Cheese Frosting
• Blueberries
• Sliced Strawberries
• Mini Marshmallows
• 8-9 Inch Round Cake Pan

To get started, you will want to prepare brownies as directed on the brownie box using the round cake pan.

Once your brownies are baked per the instructions on the box, remove the brownie from the cake pan and transfer to a cooling rack. Let the brownies cool for at least 5-10 minutes. Then it is time to decorate your fourth of July cake.

Once the brownie has cooled some, coat the top of the brownie in cream cheese frosting.

Next, it’s time to decorate your brownie cake. In the left corner of the brownie create the blue potion of the flag by placing some blueberries. Then you will want to create red and white stripes on this fourth of July cake using sliced strawberries and mini marshmallows.
