- Equipment Baking tray
- Parchment paper
- IngredientsOne lb of puff pastry rolled
- Two tablespoons of tomato sauce
- Two ounces of cooked and sliced ham
- One cup of grated cheese
- One teaspoon of dried oregano
You first need to roll out the puff pastry to work on this. If you wish, you can purchase it from the store or do it as the others do. Yes, make it at home!
Now, take a solid base to apply a layer of parchment paper. Then place your rolled puff pastry nicely! Good job, then add some tomato sauce and spread it using a spoon.
After spreading the sauce generously, place your round and sliced hams over the saucy surface. Next, take a grater and grate some cheese on top of the hams! You may need loads of cheese, as this pizza roll will be very cheesy!
Then, add your seasonings, and it is almost done.
After adding everything, you need to be a bit swift and softly roll the entire thing up.
Next, with the help of a knife, portion the log into small, small pieces. You can roughly make eight pieces. To be accurate, cut the log in two halves and half the halves, and continue until you make proper and portioned pieces.
Take your baking tray, line it up with parchment paper, and transfer the pieces. Some pieces may get deformed. Make sure you bring them back into their regular shape.
Now it is time to bake! Put the tray into the oven. Bake those rolls at 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 180 degrees Centigrade for 20 to 25 minutes. Once those rolls get a golden brown shade, you know it’s ready to serve.
That’s all about it!
- Roll it up nicely and gently.
- Do not bake deformed pizza rolls; reshape the deformed rolls, and then bake.
- Do not overcook! Overcooking destroys the crust of these rolls.
