Is it just me, or is everyone sick right now? Now that the holidays and New Year’s are over, everyone definitely seems to have the crud right now. So many people I know are home sick and the roller coaster temps outside aren’t helping things.

A hot, creamy chicken soup with a little bit of kick, this buffalo sauce inspired recipe is just what was ordered to make everyone feel better.
This easy chicken soup recipe uses buffalo sauce for a little extra kick. If you’ve never had buffalo sauce, it’s a spicy and tangy sauce that is milder that hot sauce, with a richer flavor.
- 1 lb Cooked Chicken Breasts (Cubed)
- 32 oz Chicken Broth
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 1 Tsp Pepper
- 1/4 Cup Hot Buffalo Sauce
- 1 Cup Heavy Cream
- 4 Celery Stalks (Chopped)
- 1/4 Cup Carrots (Chopped)
This buffalo chicken soup recipe is easy to double or halve, depending on how much you need.
To get started, you will want to bring the chicken broth to broil in a sauce pan. While it is warming up, chop up your veggies and chicken.
Once the broth is boiling, pour in the heavy cream.
Sprinkle in the salt & pepper and stir in the hot buffalo sauce. If you prefer things a little milder, swap out hot with a more mild sauce.
Add in the chopped chicken, celery & carrots. Reduce the heat to low and let simmer for 30 minutes while stirring every once in awhile. Serve while hot and store leftovers in an airtight container.
