How to Store Homemade Baked Donuts

Here’s some tips on how to store your donuts so they’ll stay fresh, flavorful and full of goodness.

First off, you should wrap your donuts tightly in a ziploc bag or airtight container – this will help keep their moisture and softness. If you’re not planning on eating them right away, put your wrapped baked goods into the freezer as soon as possible after baking!

Freezing maintains flavor better than refrigeration. When defrosting frozen donuts, always let them thaw overnight in the refrigerator instead of at room temperature.
