Cranberry Orange Jam

We love making our own jam and we love cranberry and orange together! This Cranberry Orange Jam is a delicious and easy jam recipe. In this recipe, we have not used any Pectin. Which has also made it a little cheaper to make. I think we all love to save money. This jam recipe will go perfectly for your holiday meals. It is sweet and tart and such a beautiful color for the Christmas season. Serve this jam on rolls, biscuits, peanut butter sandwiches, pancakes and waffles, too. Delicious cranberry orange jam without Pectin.

Put the ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to a boil.

Almost finished.

This jam can be frozen for later use.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds fresh or frozen whole cranberries
  • 1 1/2 cups Simply Orange orange juice
  • zest of 2 oranges
  • juice of 2 oranges
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 2 Fuji apples peeled and grated
Instructions

Zest and then juice the two oranges.
Peel and then grate the two apples.
Place all ingredients into a sauce pan and bring to a boil.
When mixture is boiling, reduce the heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes to get desired jam consistency.
Then, remove from the heat and mash or blend in a blender to get desired chunky or smoothness.
Use, refrigerate or freeze.
Tips
  • Fresh cranberries will pop as they simmer-don't get burned!
