Sometimes the magic of the football game starts hour before kick-off. We love to create a game day celebration when the Broncos play; right in our own backyard. It’s like tailgating at home really, with a big grill. I am excited to share homegating with beer cheese sliders.

These recipes are both special because the beer cheese comes from my days growing up in Kentucky and Jordan made up the punch. Beer cheese is a favorite there and this punch is bomb.

Ingredients

  • BEER CHEESE
  • 1 Pound Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 Cup Beer
  • 1/2 tsp Tabasco Sauce
  • 1 tsp Dry Mustard
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 2 tsp Garlic Salt
  • BURGERS
  • Mini hamburgers grilled
  • Slider buns or bread
  • Olives for extra fun

Instructions

  1. Pour beer into a bowl and whisk until beer loses its carbonation, about 30 seconds.
  2. Blend cheese and beer in a blender. Add the rest of the ingredients and pulse blend until the mixture is creamy.
  3. Put your cheese spread in an airtight bowl and refrigerate overnight before serving.
  4. BURGERS
  5. Grill mini sized burgers.
  6. Place on bottom bun.
  7. Add a heap of cold beer cheese.
  8. Place on top bun.
  9. Insert toothpick with olive.

Making beer cheese is so fun. I used Blue Moon this time.

One of the steps is to get whisk the cup of beer to get the carbonation out. FUN!

It already looks and smells amazing in the blender!

YUM. Total YUM!

Truth, I LOVE the beer cheese best on super hard salty pretzels!

Add it to sliders for a delightful game day snack!
