Sweet and Spicy Salsa

We love cooking Mexican food in our home. I am a lover of cilantro I know its either a love or a hate relationship with it. I am a fan and my hubby is not. So when creating this salsa recipe I knew I had to add some sweetness in order for him to like it. My grandchildren love this recipe. I use two cans of canned tomatoes with green chilies You can use mild, original, or hot. I use the mild. I drain them really well of their juices. Then I add the tomatoes to a food processor along with eight ounces of tomato sauce. I pulse them together. It is up to you how chunky or smooth you make this recipe. My family does not like chunky so I pulse it quite a bit. The I add about a cup of cilantro chopped up. Also I add a lime squeezed into the mixture. Then add in a tablespoon of sugar. Pulse until combined and the texture you like. I suggest letting this sit in the refrigerator for at least a couple of hours. Serve with tortilla chips.
I serve it with warmed up tortilla chips.
