This might be one of my favourite dishes I’ve made on the trip so far, and it was by far the easiest!


Sometimes you really haven’t got enough time in the day to cook something, that’s especially delicious. So this dish is the perfect quick and tasty meal you can have ready in just over 10 minutes!


Garlic and sesame pac choi!


I decided to serve with some egg fried rice, but you could also use it as a side dish if you like.


The pac choi makes a hearty meat replacement which is also much healthier for you. But be warned this dish is gorgeously garlicyyy, ⚠️ so no kissing afterwards 😂

Garlicky and Sesame Pac Choi

Ingredients

  • 3 heads of pac choi
  • 4 large garlic cloves
  • Handful of sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce 
  • Salt and pepper 
Instructions

Finely chop your garlic and soften with the olive oil in your frying pan. (Add a dash of water if the oil evaporates and it needs to soften more)
Cut your pac Choi’s in half lengthways and season with salt and pepper
Add the pac choi to the frying pan and fry on each side for a minute
Then add your sauces and cook the pac choi for approx 10 mins flipping to cook on both sides.( add chilli flakes if using)
Serve your pac choi on your rice and sprinkle with sesame seeds
