Looking for a refreshing cocktail for your next brunch or dinner? Wait until you try this quick and easy bellini recipe.

I don’t know about you, but I am all about fruity cocktails.

From Mimosas to Rossinis, I never met a bubbly and fruity cocktail I didn’t like!

This Bellini recipe is perfect because it uses your favorite Prosecco with fresh peaches.

But just because the recipe calls for Prosecco, doesn’t mean you can’t also use your favorite sparkling white wine or champagne if you prefer.

I absolutely love the light and fruity flavor of this cocktail.

And I know you will too!

Wait until you try this quick and easy bellini recipe!

What are Bellinis Made Of?

In general, Bellinis are an Italian cocktail that contains two main ingredients: Prosecco and peach puree.

It’s a light, fruity and refreshing fizzy beverage that pairs well with brunches and Italian menus.

While you can substitute with other sparkling white wines or Champagne, it’s not a true Bellini without the Prosecco.

What is the Difference Between a Bellini and a Mimosa?

While both cocktails are made with a sparkling white wine, they are different because mimosas are made with orange juice, and Bellinis are made with peach puree.

Some Mimosa recipes include other types of alcohol to add more alcohol, like vodka or grand marnier.

If you are wondering whether to make mimosas or Bellinis, try making a Bellini.

I know that mimosas tend to be a go-to for many with brunches and dinners due to their simplicity.

But bellinis sound like a lot of elegant fun, don’t they?

They are not hard to make and you should totally try it.

What is Prosecco?

Because Bellinis are made with Prosecco, we should define what it is because some confuse Prosecco with other sparkling wines and Champagne.

Prosecco is an aromatic, floral, and crisp sparkling white wine from Italy.

Is Prosecco the Same as Champagne?

In general, sparkling wines are made from fermented grapes that has both alcohol and bubbles.

While Prosecco is a sparkling white wine from Italy, Champagne is a sparkling white wine from Champagne, France.

So the two are not similar, although both are sparkling wines.

How Much Alcohol is in a Bellini?

In general, Bellinis are considered to have low alcohol content because it only uses a few ounces of a bubbly beverage mixed with peach puree.

Of course if you knock down a lot, then the alcohol consumption increases.

But if you are enjoying “just a glass” then it has a low amount of alcohol content.

What Goes Best With Bellinis?

Bellinis pair well with savory dishes that include meats, vegetables, and finger foods.

While I love bellinis with brunches, they are also great accompaniments to dinners too.

One of my favorite dishes to pair with a Bellini is THIS appetizer that works well at a brunch.

If you are a foodie, you’ll love the different levels of flavors in this pairing.

The Best Bellini Recipe That You Can Make in Minutes

What I love most about sparkling wine cocktails is the vibe!

You can dress these cocktails up or down and it adds a bit of elegance to any party.

Not to mention they are pretty easy to make.

And this Bellini recipe is no exception.

With minimal ingredients and lots of peachy goodness, this recipe will quickly become a brunch or dinner favorite.

Because it is so refreshing, it’s also a great cocktail to make during the warmer months when peaches are in season.

As an aside, this Bellini recipe is easier to make with frozen sliced peaches.

But you can totally use fresh peaches as well.

Just toss in a few ice cubes to chill it up and make sure it all blends well so it has a smooth consistency.

And if you want a non-alcohol version?

No problem!

Simply grab a bottle of sparkling cider or seltzer and use that instead of sparkling wine.
