Keto Cranberry Sauce Ingredients

Cranberries: 12 ounces of cranberries. I find that fresh, never frozen, cranberries work best!

Sweeteners: Because this recipe is keto-friendly, we are going to use keto-friendly sweeteners to make this dish perfectly sweet, without all the carbs and sugars. For that, you will need ⅔ cup of BochaSweet Sweetener, 1 tablespoon of Yacon Syrup, and ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract.

I’ve also tested this with Allulose and Yacon syrup which works great!

Orange Zest: 1 teaspoon of orange zest is the secret ingredient adding the perfect amount of zest to the dish.

Water: ¾ cup of water

How To Make Keto Cranberry Sauce

Are Cranberries Keto Friendly?

Cranberries can be enjoyed, in moderation, while on a keto diet. So, yes, they are considered keto-friendly.

Is Cranberry Sauce Keto Friendly?

Traditional cranberry sauce is not keto-friendly; this is due to the high amounts of sugars/carbs.

However, with this recipe, long gone are the days of skipping the cranberry sauce on Thanksgiving. This year, don’t skip the dish, this keto cranberry sauce will impress everyone.

Using sweeteners like BochaSweet Sweetener that are sugar-free will help keep your cranberry sauce keto-friendly.

Bonus: No one will ever even know it’s keto!

How To Store Cranberry Sauce

Move your cranberry sauce into an airtight container and place it in the fridge.

The sauce will keep for 10-14 days!

Can You Freeze Cranberry Sauce?

Yes! This keto cranberry sauce actually freezes really well.

It’s best to place your cranberry sauce in freezer bags or an airtight container when storing it in the freezer.

When you’re ready, take the sauce out of the freezer and let it thaw in the fridge overnight!

It is recommended that you use it within a couple of months so it keeps that great taste.

How To Serve Cranberry Sauce

There is such a wide variety of ways to use this versatile sauce.

First, you can choose to serve your cranberry sauce either warm, chilled, or at room temperature. Whichever you prefer!

Cranberry sauce is normally on your Thanksgiving plate as a side dish. You can dip your turkey and other side dishes in it to enhance the flavors of the dish.

Another great way to use your cranberry sauce is with the leftover turkey sandwich. We all know about the infamous leftover turkey sandwich that is made the following days after Thanksgiving.

If you haven’t topped the sandwich with your cranberry sauce as the condiment, you’re missing out. Be sure to try it out this year on your leftover turkey sandwich!

Just like the leftover turkey sandwich, you can choose to spread it along your toast the next morning. It will act just like a jam and go perfect with your toast!
