This is my new go to snack that I just HAD to share!
Tostones are made from plantains and similar to plantain chips, but a bit thicker. These are a great and healthy alternative to regular chips and they will fill you up faster than you think! Tostones are commonly served in Cuban and Dominican cuisine. They can be served with a variety of sauces or dips, such as guacamole, but in this recipe we will serve them with mojo sauce.
Mojo sauce is another Cuban sauce made from fresh herbs and other ingredients. It is super easy to make and absolutely delicious! I also like to use mojo sauce to marinate chicken or serve with other dishes.
