Homemade Jalapeno Poppers From the Peppers in Your Garden!

Hot peppers grow great in my garden (probably because all the animals won't touch them!) I am a big fan of jalapeno poppers but fried foods aren't the best for you as we all know. This is why I am absolutely obsessed with my air fryer!

I start by harvesting my peppers, I had 5 ready to go!

You will want to wear food grade gloves for this part or you will get the hot pepper oils on your hands and then touch your face, OUCH! Trust me, I know this from experience.

After removing all the seeds, I filled each jalapeno half with cream cheese.

Then I just dipped each side in bread crumbs.

I stuck it in my toaster oven/air fryer on the air fry setting for 10 minutes at 350 degrees.

They came out perfect! The peppers were soft but the cream cheese hadn't started to run yet.

Let us talk about my air fryer and toaster oven in one for a moment. I freaking love it! I used to have an air fryer and a toaster oven that were separate entities and I just hated having so many contraptions. Once the other guys started to go, I knew I wanted a combined system. Now it wasn't cheap but I use this bad boy EVERY DAY so I think it was well worth the $350 price tag.

Yum!
