- 2 tbs garlic powder
- 1 ea bouillon cube
- 8 oz parmesan cheese shredded
- 1 c panko bread crumbs
- 1 bag fried onion topping
Instructions
veggies
- set oven to 400 degrees F
- on parchment lined sheet tray toss together green beans, mushrooms and shallots
- season with olive oil, salt and black pepper
- roast for 30 minutes – mixing half way
- add miced garlic to sheet tray and continue to roast for another 15 minutes
cream sauce
- in a large saucepan melt the butter
- add flour and whisk continuously for 2 minutes

- whisk until fully incorporated
- add half-and-half whisking until mixture has thickened (8 minutes)
- add 6 oz of parmesan cheese and whisk again until fully combined

building the dish
- remove vegetables from oven and combine with the cream sauce
- coat cream sauce all over veggies
- add to a 9Ă—13 baking dish
- in a bowl combine panko and fried onions dispersing over the top evenly
- sprinkle remaining 2 oz of parmesan cheese over top
- place back into oven with just enough time to darken onions and melt cheese (5-10 min)
Tips
- If you prefer to plan this out a day before, do not cover creamed veggies with the fried toppings. When ready to finish preparing, pull baking dish out of refrigerator and let come close to room temperature before placing in the oven. Reheat at 350 degrees F for 20-30 minutes until fully heated through. Add the panko, fried onion and parmesan topping and cook for another 10-15 minutes
