Roasted Chickpeas

Air fried crispy roasted chickpeas! Don't have an air fryer? Don't worry, you can still bake these in the oven, however, it may take a lot longer for the chickpeas to become crispy. I have been loving this snack lately — it’s full of flavour and protein which is something I’m always looking to increase as a vegetarian! I stuck to some simple flavours here (salt and pepper), but I would love to try using some different seasonings and testing out a barbeque flavour as well.   • 1 can chickpeas
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic powder (Or any other seasonings you like!)

Drain and rinse the chickpeas.
Coat with the olive oil.
Sprinkle on seasonings.
Cover your air fryer with aluminum foil and spread out the chickpeas. Cook for 10-15 minutes at 390F. You may need to cook them for a shorter or longer period of time depending on your air fryer! Remove when crispy and golden brown.
Let them cool before storing them in an airtight container. Enjoy!
