Mummy Pretzels
I am in full fall mode, taking out all the pumpkins leaves, gourds, and making anything pumpkin spice! As much as I love to make homemade pies and cookies and bars, I also like really quick little snack to whip up for unexpected guests, and this is perfect for busy moms to make for the kiddos after school, and they will love them!
Because who wouldn’t love Mummy pretzels? Made with pretzels, store-bought frosting, and some candy googly eyes. These are made literally in minutes.
These are my favorite pretzels of choice. I love the square shape and they literally do have a delicious buttery flavoring. In addition to being very crunchy.
Any white frosting tub will work. This is what I had on hand.
These are the googly eyes that I used. I’ve seen them in a few different sizes small and large. I got these at Walmart. The pack has a ton in it so I saved them and use them year after year.
Stir up the frosting and put about a half a cup into a plastic baggie towards the corner squeeze it all down to the edge
Then snip off the tip carefully making sure you don’t make it too large. You want to be able to squeeze the frosting out, but not have it be too big.
lay out your pretzels, and on each pretzel, squeeze out the frosting in a squiggle shape like this it doesn’t have to be exactly like mine, but you get the idea
Then add the eyes you can put them right next to each other or make them a little offset so that they look silly!
They really look adorable when you make a whole bunch of them and serve them on a tray like this!
