MEDITERRANEAN TURKEY BURGERS

Who is ready for easy recipes, with quality ingredients and packed with flavor?

This Greek Turkey Burgers, will not disappoint the craving. This recipe is low carb and high in protein and healthy all around. Loaded with all the mediterranean flavors from feta cheese, onions and spinach to add flavor and moist to the burgers and topped with homemade tatziki sauce, bringing all the greek flavors together. To keep it low carb, I wrapped them in lettuce and tomato. A delicious recipe to enjoy it for lunch or dinner.

This burger recipe is inspired by mediterranean ingredients like the salty feta, the spinach and red onions. I also made a homemade authentic tatziki sauce (recipe by my friend Ioanna) that will change the way you have made this recipe before. Just a handful of ingredients, easily found at your local super market to make this delicious and tasty recipe. This is now a recipe my family will ask to be on the menu each week

The tatziki sauce is simply made with greek yogurt (strained for 1 hour) so all the liquid is out and get a thicker consistency, shredded cucumber (also strained to get all the liquid out), garlic clove and salt.

These Greek burgers are the easiest and tasty recipe you will find. The turkey meat is mixed with a combination of feta, spinach, onions and seasonings to create the perfect burger on a low carb diet.

Ingredients list:

1 lb of organic ground turkey

1 cup of fresh spinach (chopped small)

2 garlic cloves (grated)

1/2 cup of Feta cheese (crumbled)

1/4 cup of Red onions (diced small)

1/2 tsp of salt

1/2 tsp of pepper

1/2 tsp of oregano

Serve it low carb with lettuce, tomatoes and homemade tatziki.

My friend recommended to make this tatziki sauce without lemon and dill. I also strained the yogurt and cucumber for a thicker consistency but still creamy. You must give it a try.

Easy, delicious lunch or dinner idea. Perfect for TO GO lunches for the office or picnic at the park.

The tatziki adds a layer of tangy creaminess to enjoy this mediterranean patties.

Fresh ingredient to make this healthy delicious recipe.

Adding the feta and red onions help to keep the meat flavorful and most while grilling.

A tip I learn is to make a small thumb print in the middle of the of the turkey patty to make sure the patties cook evenly.

A tasty and healthy recipe to enjoy for lunch or dinner.

These burger are perfectly grilled and juicy inside.

Let's Dishplay it together and ELEVATE home cooked meals.
