Crockpot Chicken and Stuffing
Crockpot Chicken and Stuffing is all of the smells, tastes and comfort of Thanksgiving dinner without all of the time and preparation.
This is such an easy, leave it and forget it recipe, but tastes like you have spent hours in the kitchen cooking it.
It leaves the whole house smelling like Thanksgiving dinner, which gives off all of the comforting feels of the Holidays without all of the work.
Simply place chicken breasts, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, stuffing and melted butter in a crockpot and let cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6 hours.
You will be left with a creamy, savory and hearty meal you can make all winter long.
Serve with roasted vegetables, salad and or mashed potatoes for a well rounded dinner your whole family will love!
Crockpot Chicken and Stuffing

Ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts 2 ½ pounds
- 2, 10.5 oz cans of low sodium cream
- of chicken soup
- ½ cup low fat sour cream
- 1 box chicken stuffing mix 6 ounces
- ¼ cup salted butter
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in a 6 quart slow cooker liner.
- Pour the condensed cream of chicken soup over the chicken breasts.
- Add the sour cream or Greek yogurt and use a rubber spatula to gently swirl the soup and sour cream together.
- In a small bowl, mix the dry stuffing mix and melted butter together. Sprinkle evenly over the top of chicken.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Shred the chicken and serve!
Tips
- If desired, uncover crockpot for last 45min to allow stuffing to crisp up a bit.
- Substitute plain Greek yogurt for the sour cream to lighten up and add protein to the recipe
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
