Cottage Cheese Toast
As a lifetime cottage cheese lover I’m all about the surge in the popularity of it everywhere and all the amazing recipes and ways to use it all over the web. I have to admit I was skeptical about the cottage cheese breads and toasts I’ve seen recently but decided to give it a try
In my opinion it’s great! Mine was very thin and pliable, you could wrap it and make a sandwich or make a pizza, I’m going to top it with some salad, it’s very flavorful and salty, I can’t wait to experiment more with it!
You’ll need one container of cottage cheese, this is my go to and absolute favorite
No fancy tools needed, line a cookie sheet with parchment paper
Plop the entire container on the center of the sheet
I used a fork to spread this out Finley in the shape of a rectangle approximately 8 x 12
Sprinkled it with garlic powder
And a little onion powder as well
I cooked it in a preheated 400° oven for 20 minutes
When you take it out, it may be brown around the edges, which is OK. I let it cool completely and carefully lifted it off of the paper with a spatula.
I cut it into three equal sheets and stored in a storage bag in the fridge for up to a week.
