Pumpkin Spice Snack Mix

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups chex cereal (I used the honey nut flavor but cinnamon would work great too!)
  • 2 cups pretzel bites (My youngest likes the pretzel balls)
  • 2 cups Reese’s pieces
  • 2 cups mixed nuts
  • 1 egg white
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 300 degrees F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread out the mixed nuts.
  3. In a small bowl combine the pumpkin pie spice and brown sugar
  4. In a separate bowl, crack an egg, keeping the egg white.
  5. Drizzle the egg white over the nuts coating evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the pumpkin pie spice mixture over the nuts and toss. Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes, tossing over every once in awhile.
  7. Remove the nuts from the oven and let cool.
  8. In a large bowl, combine the other ingredients.
  9. Add the nuts once cooled and toss.

Enjoy! If not eating immediately, store in an airtight container or mason jar.

You can store in little mason jars and tie with a ribbon for a cute little handmade gift or just to look cute on your counter.

  • This looks good! And easy to customize. Like making snacks for my co workers as we have a grab and go type of job. Can make everyone their own jar. Thanks! The wheels are turning.

I am assuming I should have beaten the egg white before "drizzling" it over the nuts? It doesn't go far enough to cover them all in that large pan!
