This super simple pasta takes a few simple ingredients and makes a hearty meal perfect for busy weeknights. Bonus: Only one pot to clean and no strainer!
One Pot Tomato Basil Pasta
Recipe details
Ingredients
- 4 cups Chicken broth
- 3 tenderloins of Chicken
- 3/4 lbs fettucine
- 1/2 chopped Onion
- 5 sliced Mushrooms
- 1 can of fire-roasted tomatoes
- ½ cup Fresh basil
- 1 tbsp Garlic
- ½ tbsp Salt
- Pepper to taste
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- First, prepare by chopping mushrooms, onions, basil, and grate parmesan.
- Pour in oil and add chicken, salt and pepper
- Once browned, add in mushrooms, onion, can of tomatoes, garlic, and basil
- Bring to boil for 8-10 minutes or until the sauce is thickened and the pasta is soft
- Add in parmesan and stir
- Serve topped with fresh parmesan and parsley
