One Pot Tomato Basil Pasta

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 3 tenderloins of Chicken
  • 3/4 lbs fettucine
  • 1/2 chopped Onion
  • 5 sliced Mushrooms
  • 1 can of fire-roasted tomatoes
  • ½ cup Fresh basil
  • 1 tbsp Garlic
  • ½ tbsp Salt
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese
Instructions

First, prepare by chopping mushrooms, onions, basil, and grate parmesan.
Pour in oil and add chicken, salt and pepper
Once browned, add in mushrooms, onion, can of tomatoes, garlic, and basil
Bring to boil for 8-10 minutes or until the sauce is thickened and the pasta is soft
Add in parmesan and stir
Serve topped with fresh parmesan and parsley

    So, was that pre-cooked pasta? It's not even on the ingredient list, so I'm confused.

      Since we didn’t get an answer, I just did my own thing. I used regular fettuccine noodles (not pre-cooked) and added them at the same time as the other ingredients, including the chicken broth. I let them cook until tender. It was really good but I would use more broth, chicken and tomatoes next time.
