Spicy Honey Garlic Shrimp
- 1/2 cup Mikes Hot Honey
- 1 1/2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1 lb medium uncooked shrimp
- 1 tabsp olive oil
- Mix honey and garlic in a small bowl.
- Put half the mixture into a larger bowl and add shrimp.
- Marinade for 10 minutes.
- Heat oil in cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add shrimp and sear for 2-3 minutes.
- Flip shrimp and sear for another 2-3 minutes, until cooked through.
- Toss shrimp into the remaining spicy honey garlic sauce and serve hot.
I would separate the sauce in half. If you use the leftover sauce at the end of the recipe as suggested you can get salmonella from the raw shrimp.
