How to Make the Best Cranberry Sauce with Fresh Cranberries
Hey Friends!I am so glad that you are here. I so enjoy our time together. Can you believe that it is November already? This is crazy! Where is the time going? Thanksgiving is one of my all time favorite days. I love that we have a holiday to show our gratitude. We need many more Thanksgivings each year, if you ask me.
I adore Fresh Cranberry Sauce, you might even call me a “Cranberry Sauce Snob.” I think that canned Cranberry Sauce should be out lawed-I know, some of you are gasping at this very moment. Today, I am going to show you how to make the best cranberry sauce with fresh cranberries. “Come on, I’ll show you.
Don’t you just love Thanksgiving? The smell of the turkey cooking? The football game or the Macy’s day parade on the television? The family gathering and laughing together as they catch up on each others lives? It all makes for such a wonderful day. I love everything about the traditional Thanksgiving Feast, but I especially love fresh homemade cranberry sauce.

This cranberry sauce isn’t the typical recipe that is on the package of the cranberry bag. This recipe is a bit different, but oh, so delicious. And, only four ingredients-five if you decide that you want to add the fresh rosemary. This simple recipe would make a lovely gift or hostess gift this holiday season-just put it in a beautiful container, and viola! instant hostess gift.
Step 1: Pick through the cranberries to get out any overripe berries or stems.
Step 2: Pour Berries into your pot. Get a stainless steel stockpot here, a non-stick stockpot here or a Le Crueset Enamel stockpot
Step 4; Add balsamic vinegar. Get glass liquid measuring cup here, or a set of three here.
Step 5: Add maple syrup.
Step 6: Optional-add chopped fresh rosemary. Get a cutting board here or here. Get a chopping knife here or here.

Step 7: Let berries cook until they start to pop.
Step 8: Mash berries with a potato masher. Cook until berries thicken.

Ingredients
1 lb. bag Fresh Cranberries1/4 c. Balsamic Vinegar1/2 c. Maple Syrup1 T. Fresh Rosemary, chopped (optional)Water to cover berries in pan.
Directions
Over medium heat, add all ingredients,Let cook until berries pop, then mash with a potato masher/Cook until cranberry sauce thickens.Enjoy!
