Here is a terrific recipe for robin egg easter bark Easter candy that is easy, homemade, and you only need 2 ingredients! Whip up a batch of this and they are the perfect addition to any Easter basket! If you do a plastic easter egg hunt at your house, you could also fill some of the Easter eggs with this homemade Easter candy! This is the fun time of year for bright and pastel colors, so let’s make some Easter sweets reflecting that!

Ingredients for this easy Easter candy for Easter baskets:


  • 12 oz white chocolate candy- I like to use the white chocolate wafers found in the bulk candy section of your grocery store.
  • 1 cup – 1 ½ cups Robin Eggs candy

Makes 12-24 pieces depending on how big you break them

Directions needed to make this homemade Easter candy:


  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. If using block chocolate, cut it up into small pieces. You can also opt to get white chocolate wafers that you can usually find in the bulk section of your grocery store.

3. Melt chocolate in the microwave or over a double boiler. I recommend using a glass measuring cup (like Pyrex) and melting a cup and a half of chocolate wafers. Heat them on high for 30 seconds. Then stir them, and heat again for another 30 seconds. Do these heating/stirring intervals until all of the chocolate is melted.

4. Pour melted chocolate onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.

5. Spread melted chocolate out until it’s about ⅛ – ¼ inch thick.

6. Arrange Robin Eggs candy all over on top of the melted chocolate.

7. Refrigerate for 1 hour to set.

8. Break apart into pieces.

9. Enjoy!

One other thing that I think would be great to try is to melt down the Hershey’s cookies and cream bars for this. Or you can make a milk or dark chocolate version of this Easter candy as well. Maybe even try melting peanut butter chips and adding the Cadbury mini eggs to that? This one might be stretching it, but how about even jelly beans? Maybe look at some of their recipes and see what kind of chocolate would go best with Jelly Belly jelly beans for an even more gourmet Easter candy for Easter baskets.

  • Lime jelly beans and white chocolate to make key lime pie flavored.
  • Any of the Jelly Belly Krispy Creme jelly beans on white or milk or cookies and cream chocolate!
  • Strawberry jam flavored jelly beans on the peanut butter bark.
  • Strawberry cheesecake or strawberry daiquiri or cotton candy would be great on the white chocolate!
  • Marshmallow jelly beans on milk chocolate!
  • You could even have kids combine their own flavors and have a taste testing competition for the best Easter candy!

While I love Robin Eggs candy, you could also use Cadbury mini eggs for this recipe too!

Add all of the flavors to small cellophane bags, and you have wonderful Easter candy favors to pass out to a classroom, church kids Easter party, or even to the entire family on Easter Sunday.     Great idea. . . Could try smaller candies like mini M&MS or cake decorating toppers. I think I will try cherry or blueberry infused Craisins with chopped pecans or granola.
