Chocolate dipped Fritos Scoops, a sweet and salty snack that is not only easy to make but a great little treat to put into your holiday gift baskets and tins.

Christmas is about family, friends, fun and food, especially sweet treats at least at my hoouse. Cookies, candy, cakes, pies and more load the tables of a holiday dinner party. But sometimes you want a sweet and easy treat, to give to a neighbor, friend, or even the mail and Fed-ex or UPS man that has been delivering all of your Christmas goodies.

Chocolate dipped anything is a great treat in my book. In the past I've drizzled popcorn and covered potato chips but today while I was making some truffles I had a little extra chocolate I didn't have either of those ingredients but I did have a bag of Fritos Scoops. So that's what I used and it is the perfect sweet and salty combination.

Chocolate dipped Fritos are the perfect treat to whip up in a flash, they only take 2 or 3 ingredients depending upon which recipe you choose and they take just a few minutes to dip and set up. They are also a great way to get your kids in the kitchen, set them up with a bowl of melted chocolate and a bowl of Fritos and let them dip away.

I will warn you, once you start eating these you might not want to share. If you decide to share a batch or two simply place them in a celophane bag tied with a colorful ribbon or in a holiday tin and gift away.

A two or three ingredient treat that tastes and looks delicious.

You can eat these chocolate dipped Fritos as they are or add them to a bowl of popcorn while watching a holiday movie. Or add them to a bag of trail mix and take it to snack on while looking for the perfect tree, or while you are out shopping.

Your family and friends are going to love these sweet and salty treats.
