Brownie Trifle Recipe Notes and FAQ

What kind of brownies should I use in this trifle recipe?

Brownies from scratch are the best. The recipe for the brownies made in this recipe is here, minus the nuts and chocolate chips. To save time, you can buy brownies from a bakery or your grocery store. Use any kind of brownies you like.

How to make a chocolate trifle with brownies.

If you want this recipe to be extra chocolaty, feel free to use chocolate pudding instead of vanilla. Or, you can add brownies to this chocolate trifle recipe for an extra rich chocolate treat.

Why use a pan scraper to cut brownies?

Try using a pan scraper to cut your brownies. The brownies don’t stick to the pan scraper like they do to a metal knife. You’ll get cleaner edges and fewer crumbles of brownie while cutting. It may look time-consuming to do this, but it’s really not.
