Banana Split Breakfast

1 Serving
10 min

This healthy morning meal is a fun take on a banana split. Swap the ice cream for yogurt and the sprinkles for fresh berries and chia seeds and you’ll have a better for you morning snack that the kids will love too.

Ingredients:

1 large banana

1 cup of raspberry Greek yogurt

1/2 cup of fresh blackberries

1 tsp of chia seeds

Slice banana in half. Take one half and chop it into 1 inch pieces. Take the other half and cut it length wise. Place the banana chunks between the two long banana slices.

Top the banana with the yogurt. I used raspberry Greek yogurt from a local dairy farm but you can use whatever type of yogurt you think tastes best.

Place blackberries on top of the yogurt and sprinkle with chia seeds. These blackberries were picked fresh from our property here in the Pacific Northwest. Feel free to substitute your favorite fruit. Granola or some fresh nuts would also taste delicious.

Your family will love this quick morning Banana Split that can be made in just a few minutes on a busy weekday morning.
