No Bake Cake Bites
Once upon a time, back in the 1990s, it wasn't frowned upon when parents let kids lick the beaters from the handheld mixer whenever a cake was baked or cookie dough was prepared.
Then came all the worries about raw eggs and how they could (okay probably very likely) make you sick because of Salmonella. All of a sudden a childhood right of passage was lost. If you're looking for edible cookie dough, try this recipe.
With 4 Ingredients this recipe is perfect for any last-minute plans. While it will only take you 15 minutes to make this dessert, it will taste like, and appear as if you worked tirelessly on the dessert.
Start by emptying the contents of your favorite cake mix into a mixing bowl.
Remove 6 tablespoons of the cake mix to ensure your cake bites turn out with the perfect texture.
Add 1 stick of softened butter and 1 tablespoon of water
Then using a fork thoroughly mix the 3 ingredients together until well combined.
Once completely mixed there will be no dry cake mix left.
Roll the mixture into balls. Any size will do.
In a microwave-safe bowl melt white chocolate chips or almond bark at 20-second increments until completely melted.
Add the melted chocolate to a pastry bag or Ziplock bag with a small corner cut.
Drizzle melted chocolate over the formed cake bites.
Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve, and to store leftovers...if there is any.

I have heard recently that it is not a good idea to eat raw flour, which is in cake mix.
So... They're eating dough chocolate on top?
