Easy Smores Cake Mix Cookies Recipe
This Smores Cake Mix Cookies Recipe will hit that Smores craving! I love Smores and we did not get to go camping enough this summer!! Plus we made this using the cutest little baking bits too!
As a chocolate lover this cookie was my favorite out of the four we made that day! I plan to remake these using peanut butter chips in place of the Mallow Bits.
Smores Cake Mix Cookies Recipe Ingredients:
- 1 Box Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix
- 1 Cup Marshmallow Baking Bits
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil
- Graham Cracker Crumbles.
How To Make Smores Cake Mix Cookies:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees before starting the cookies.
Mix together the cake mix, oil, eggs, and mallow bits. Crumble up some Graham Crackers, we had Isabella do this in a bag. Now we didn’t mix in the graham crackers cause the batter was thick and we didn’t want them to absorb any of the liquid.Use a nonstick cookie sheet or place parchment paper on your cookie sheet. Now I use the parchment paper when I am making a lot of cookies or different varieties. This way I just rip off the paper and lay down a fresh paper since I don’t have wash the pan in between batches. I have to say I love to bake but man the dishes can really add up!
Now my next baking secret is I used a cookie scoop to scoop out the batter if you aren’t using a cookie scoop to make cookies you are doing it wrong! I love my Wilton Scoop for making all the cookies and even mini muffins.
Sprinkle the cookie mounds with some of the graham cracker crumbles; we did a mixture of fine graham crackers and bigger chunks as well.
Bake for about 12 minutes in your preheated oven. Be sure to adjust the time if you know your oven cooks hot or not.
This made about 19 cookies for me.
Store in either an airtight container or Ziploc.
