Peanut Butter Krispies
We have been making these easy bars for many years. My children loved them when they were younger and now they make them for their children. They are quick and easy to make. For the topping you can use all milk chocolate or I use a mix of butterscotch chips and milk chocolate. If you like semi sweet better feel free to use them instead. Either way they taste so good.
Melt your corn syrup and sugar together. Bring to a boil and take off the heat and add your peanut butter.
After teh peanut butter has melted add in your rice krispie cereal. Stir quickly they come together fast. Spray your baking pan and put your mixture in the pan.
Make sure to pat them down evenly in pan.
Melt your chips whatever flavor combination you want. I melt mine in the microwave for 20 seconds at a time stirring in between until fully melted and shiny. Spread on top of the bars.
Let set for a couple of hours until the chocolate mixture hardens. Cut into bars.
