Summer is here, time for cookouts, patio parties, beach time and lobster bakes! I have a super fun dessert for you to bring to any of these gatherings, and making them is so quick and easy!

I like to bring these on a blue tray or as I did here, just line a tray with a sheet of blue wrapping paper, it really makes them pop!

I used a box mix for the cupcakes, made as directed and let them cook completely

Frost each cupcake with your favorite frosting, homemade or can, I just suggest White frosting because the lobsters really show up, and the Red, White and Blue theme is super cute!

Now grab yourself a bag of these pull n peel Twizzlers and separate a few of the full pieces into the thin strands, you’ll use the strands as well as some of the full pieces

This is where you'll get your Food Art craftiness on! With a pairing knife or kitchen scissors follow this diagram to cut all the lobster parts, they do not need to be perfect and you may need a few tries to get them all done, just make sure you eat all the "mess ups”

Assemble them as shown, securing each piece by slightly pushing into the frosting. This is one of those things that are so creative but really takes no time at all, I hope you make them for your next Summer gathering!
