These shrimp taco cups are the perfect quick appetizer to enjoy with your family and friends. They're incredibly flavorful and these tasty little bites can be a big crowd please and can get people coming back from more. Better yet, these cups can be made in under 30 minutes. They are a bit spicy but all the other spices and the lemon are able to balance that and create a very fresh and fun appetizer to enjoy for any event or setting. All you need is less than 10 ingredients and your set to making a delicious appetizer that everyone will keep asking for more. Happy cooking!

Ingredients

  • 12 oz mini shrimp, peeled
  • 3 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 lemon juice
  • 1 bell peppers, diced
  • 5 Tortilla rounds
  • Lettuce
Instructions

In a small bowl, add the shrimp and pour in spices and lemon juice and mix until combined. Set aside for 30 minutes and allow to marinate.
While waiting, use a small cup to cut tortilla rounds into smaller circles.
Fit the tortilla circles into cupcake molds to create a "bowl" and bake on 350F for 7-8 minutes.
Remove tortilla from molds and allow to cool.
Once it's done marinating, heat a pan with cooking oil on medium heat.
Cook the shrimp on the pan for 1-2 minutes on each side. Transfer shrimp to bowl.
To assemble, shred lettuce to fill the base of the cup. Add a couple pieces of shrimp, add the diced peppers, top with a sauce of your choice, then garnish with parsley.
