Gosh is it too early for pumpkin spice everything??? I am so exited for fall and all the delicious flavors that come with it! This delicious pumpkin spice brioche french toast is so much easier to make than you think! It is made pretty much just like regular french toast, but with a little extra somethin-somethin.

I like to eat my french toast topped with fresh bananas, toasted walnuts, and drizzled with a sweet local maple syrup. All these toppings pair deliciously with this delicious pumpkin spiced breakfast.

This pumpkin spice brioche french toast is best eaten immediately. I do not recommend refrigerating or freezing.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Canned Pumpkin Puree
  • 4 Eggs
  • 2/3 cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
  • 8 Brioche Bread Slices
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Walnuts for serving
  • 2 Sliced Bananas for serving
  • Maple Syrup for servingIn a medium sized mixing bowl, whisk together the pumpkin, eggs, milk, vanilla, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Instructions

In a medium sized mixing bowl, whisk together the pumpkin, eggs, milk, vanilla, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Dip the bread slices into the mixture, making sure they are completely and evenly coated.
Melt the butter in the skillet over medium high heat.
Toast the bread on each side until a little darker than golden (3 minutes on each side).
Serve immediately topped with banana slices, walnuts, and maple syrup.
