Spiked Lemonade
This Spiked Lemonade is made with fresh lemon juice, sugar, vodka, seltzer water, and garnished with rosemary sprigs. This spiked lemonade is so tasty, tart, and sweet all at the same time.
It is finally spring and this Spiked Lemonade is something you definitely need to make. During the summer, it is the best way to beat the heat. The flavor of the sugar and lemon blend seamlessly together making this amazing cocktail.
What is in Spiked lemonade?
You can use gin or bourbon if you prefer, but I find that vodka tastes the best. You will need:
- Lemons
- Sugar
- Vodka
- Seltzer Water
- Ice
You can use more or less than on the ingredients, totally up to you, but I suggest the lemon juice and sugar are equal parts. Feel free to make this pitcher style!
Bring the lemon juice, sugar to a boil in a small saucepan, stirring until sugar has dissolved, then reduce heat and simmer two minutes. Cool completely.
Fill four (8 oz) glasses halfway with ice. Divide syrup (about two tablespoons each) among glasses and add vodka (1 tablespoon each). Add seltzer to each glass and garnish with rosemary sprigs.
