This simple blueberry lemonade is perfect for an afternoon pick-me-up or a mocktail for your next party! It’s easy to make the homemade blueberry syrup, and you’ll love sipping on this refreshing drink!

I’ve been creating more mocktail recipes because I want to have various drinks to offer my friends and family when they come over. After I made this blueberry lemon drop martini, I wanted to make something similar that is non-alcoholic!

This blueberry lemonade is a refreshing and delicious drink, perfect for a hot summer day. It combines blueberry syrup, lemon juice, and still or sparkling water. The sweet and tart flavors of the blueberry and lemonade are perfectly balanced, creating a unique and tasty beverage.

How to Make Blueberry Lemonade

First, you’ll need blueberry syrup. I have a simple recipe for homemade blueberry syrup, but you can also use storebought syrup. Torani makes a great one! Then you’ll mix the syrup with lemon juice and still or sparkling water. Pour over ice and enjoy!

I like to serve this blueberry lemonade garnished with fresh blueberries and lemon slices. This drink is perfect for a summer barbecue, a picnic in the park, or a lazy afternoon by the pool.

Blueberries are packed with antioxidants, which help to fight off free radicals that can damage cells in the body. They are also a good vitamin C source, which helps support a healthy immune system. Lemon juice is also a good source of vitamin C and other beneficial nutrients like potassium and magnesium.

In addition to being delicious, blueberry lemonade is easy to customize. You can adjust the sweetness or tartness to your liking by adding more or less sugar or lemon juice. You can also experiment with different flavors by adding other fruits or herbs, such as mint or basil.

Tips for Blueberry Lemonade

  • If you make a batch of blueberry syrup, it will last a couple of weeks in the fridge so you can make this again and again. Or, you can use the syrup on pancakes, waffles, oatmeal, and more!
  • While I love fresh lemon juice, you can also use bottled lemon juice. I like the Santa Cruz brand which is high quality with a nice flavor.
  • You can make this with still or sparkling water.
  • Feel free to double or triple the recipe to make this recipe for a crowd!
