Springtime is a perfect time of the year to enjoy the outdoors, picnics at the park or wine tasting with a delicious cheese board pairings.

I want to share this beautiful and delicious cheese boards I prepared a few weeks ago, when we visited one of our favorite wineries in Santa Inez Valley in Buellton, CA.

I called ahead of time to get the list of the wine tasting flight to coordinate the cheese pairings and enjoy a beautiful day with the hubby.

Here is my easy guide:

White Wines are best paired with Soft cheeses. Sauvignon blanc goes well with goat cheese and brie cheese with a sparkling wine or champagne wine. .

Light body red wines like Pinot Noirs are paired with more nutty cheese like gruyere.

More bolder red wines like Cabernets and Zinfandels, goes well with aged cheddar or one of my favorite is the Toscano cheese. This is a nutty cheese that pairs well with all red wines.

A beautiful and delicious display of cheeses and charcuterie to pair with wine.

The salami rose is a perfect centerpiece to tie all of the ingredients of this beautiful cheese board.

Cheers to outdoor fun and getaways!
