Salmon Tartare: A fresh and cold meal that can be prepared any time of the year. Most commonly eaten in summer, but having it in winter doesn't hurt, it is a nice and refreshing change. It is easy and quick to prepare (in under 10 min).

The beauty of this meal is that it does not require the use of a stove or any fancy equipment. You just need fresh fish, some good olive oil, a bunch of herbs and you are good to go. The only lengthy process is the chill time (about 30 minutes to an hour) - the longer it chills, the colder it gets, the better it tastes - Patience is key here :)

To balance it out, you can serve it with some carbs such as a handful of crunchy tortilla chips, shrimps chips, crispy pita, toasted bread, etc.
